BSc Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate degree course that is recognized by the nursing council of India. The course will be having semester wise or year wise exam depending on the university.

After you complete BSc nursing you can work as a staff nurse, home nurse, administrator, management of any clinic of private sector hospitals.

There are a lot of opportunities in government sectors like a health department, railways, army, navy, ESI, ECHS, etc.

To be eligible to take BSc nursing admission in Kerala, you must have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in your 12th standard.

After completing nursing you can do your post-graduation in MSc Nursing, PhD in Nursing, M.Phil in Nursing, etc.

B.Sc. in Cardiac Technology is a 3-year full-time undergraduate course divided into 6 semesters. Cardiac Technology is an allied course in medicine.

Cardiac Technologists assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular testing; a tube is inserted into one of the blood vessels that carry blood into the heart.

Cardiac technology is an area of specialization for allied health professionals. Cardiac Technologists assist physicians in:

  • diagnosing and treating cardiac (heart) and peripheral vascular (blood vessel) conditions.
  • preparing patients for open-heart surgery.
  • implanting pacemakers.
  • monitoring patients during these procedures.
  • performing cardiac stress tests and electrocardiograms.
  • using and maintaining the medical equipment that catches irregular heartbeats.
  • working in laboratory settings on real patients.
  • management of various cardiac disorders having complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Dialysis technology graduates may find a job at hospitals (Government or private), clinics or healthcare setups offering dialysis treatment.

 

Usually they work in a team, under the supervision of qualified Doctors and Nurses. Some of the common job profiles available in front of them include-

  • Dialysis technician
  • Dialysis supervisor
  • Dialysis Therapist
  • Dialysis Assistant

 

Completing relevant M.Sc. course will help one take on teaching job (lecturer or instructor) at institutes offering dialysis technology education or patient education programs.

Technical jobs are also available in front of dialysis technology graduates. Dialysis equipment repair and maintenance tasks can be carried out by them. They may also find a job at firms manufacturing and marketing dialysis equipment.

Starting salary depends on factors like- job location, profile of the employer and job profile. B.Sc. Dialysis Technology graduates may earn anywhere between 8-15k Rupees per month

As I told you earlier you can join government departments through PSC exams conducted.

You can also migrate to the Gulf or European countries where you will be able to earn at least 5 times more than in India. But, to work abroad you must qualify for exams like MOH, IELTS, etc depending on the country you want to move on.

You can expect a starting salary of Rs.13,000 to Rs.20,000 in India depending on the hospital or clinic you are working.

But abroad, you can easily around Rs.75,000 to Rs.2 lakh depending on the country and experience.
